Winmarleigh Hall Year 6 Residential

Year 6 recently took part in outdoor and adventurous activities at Winmarleigh Hall, near Garstang, Lancashire. Their three day residential adventure began with a spot of raft building and sailing. The rafts were well built but some of the sailing skills left one or two children in the drink! Despite a few wet clothes, the children had a wonderful first day and soon dired out around the camp fire at night.

During the short week, the children took part in activities they wouldn’t normally attempt at school and there were new experiences for all, including the giant swing!

The children were given superb instruction and safety was paramount. They learned so many new things and continued to develop their team skills and their confidence throughout the week. By the looks on their faces, it certainly will be a part of their school life that they will never forget!
