School Uniform
There is no uniform for Nursery children, although they are more than welcome to wear the same school uniform as in other year groups.
- Grey pinafore, grey skirt or tailored grey trousers or tailored grey shorts (not leggings)
- Blue gingham dress for summer term (optional)
- Royal blue sweatshirt with or without the school badge
- Royal blue cardigan with or without the school badge
- Plain blue tie (optional)
- White polo shirt or white blouse
- White or grey socks or grey tights
- Black shoes not trainers. Boots are not to be worn in school. If pupils are wearing boots to walk to school, please send shoes for your child to change into.
- Hair Accessories – Plain blue or black hairband only or small blue ribbon/bow.
- Headscarves/hijab may be worn for religious reasons but must be in school colours – navy blue only. These must also be removed during PE lessons, unless the Head Teacher has given permission following confirmation in writing from parents that the child is post-puberty, and only then if it is close fitting.
PE and Sports
- Navy shorts, leggings or joggers with a plain white t shirt.
- Trainer or pumps.
- PE kit can be worn to school on PE days. On the days where children do the Daily Mile they can wear trainers to school (or get changed into them at school if they keep them on their peg).
- No jewellery and hair tied back.
Extra – curricular clubs that do not fall on a PE day, pupils will change into their PE kit at the end of the school day.
Parents / carers are requested to not send their child to school wearing jewellery; particularly earrings, as they can be dangerous during outdoor playtimes, PE sessions and extra-curricular activities.
Please ensure that all items are clearly marked with your child’s name. School cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage of such items.
