Child and Family Wellbeing
Welcome to our school wellbeing page.
At Worthington, we recognise that positive wellbeing and good mental health are vital for our pupils’ happiness and achievement. We believe that a child’s emotional and mental wellbeing are fundamental to their overall success and happiness. We take the emotional wellbeing of our staff and pupils very seriously. We aim to create a positive, calm and happy school where pupils, staff and visitors enjoy being here at our school.
At school, we recognise that at times some people may be affected by worries, concerns or problems at home. It is natural to have a range of feelings and when pupils, staff or children need extra support, we try to provide this at school.
On this page we have included signposts to different organisations for support, information and guidance for parents and pupils. Most of these links also have links to support and advice for adults too. Our goal is to equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to create a supportive home environment that nurtures your child’s mental, emotional and social wellbeing. If you cannot find the help that you need, please let school know and we will do our best to sign post you to the appropriate support services.
